Nano and micro workshop concentrating on end users and manufacturers

The intent of the workshop is to bring together manufacturers, researchers, and end users of nano and micro technologies to initiate a roadmap for translating basic research to practical applications. A distinguishing feature of the workshop will be the emphasis on the needs of manufacturers and technology users. Registration will be available on or before October 22, 2012. The event will be held at the Ford Motor Company Conference and Event Center in Dearborn, Michigan, where precision manufacturing, standardized parts, and the assembly line were combined for the first time in high-volume manufacturing.
