MEMS Research Development Engineer

Overview

This position is with a group responsible for the development of new MEMS devices for applications in the ink jet printing markets.

Requirements

Masters degree
Hands-on clean room fabrication experience in microelectronic device fabrication.
Experience in lithography including exposing and writing jobs for steppers,
Strong knowledge base of the chemistry of polymers and polymer coating technology including thick films, photoimageable polyimide and other state of the art
Solid interpersonal and communication skills.
Able to conduct independent investigations of process and device issues.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be one who has shown a good material science and fabrication background with a working knowledge of the latest MEMS technologies. State of the art facilities and infrastructure for MEMS modeling, design, fabrication, material analysis, packaging and testing are already in place at Eastman Kodak Company’s Research Laboratories in Rochester New York. Work is also conducted in collaboration with a number of Universities.
