IMT is seeking a Plating Development Engineer to join our team. RequirementsThis position will require a background in wafer processing and cross-functional knowledge in Plating, Wet and Dry Etching, Photolithography, and Deposition, with an emphasis on Electroplating. Requirements for this position are a minimum of a Bachelors degree in Engineering of Material Science and five years of wafer processing experience, or thee years in a developmental role. An advanced degree is desirable. Working knowledge of SPC and Design of Experiments is expected. ResponsibilitiesThe primary focus of this position is to develop processes and process flow required for device development and integration. The engineer will be responsible for development and characterization of new processes, and improvement and extension of existing processes. Ultimately, these processes and products will transfer to production. The engineer will be responsible for providing all necessary capability data, training, and documentation for successful process transfer. Ability to trouble shoot cross-functional process segments, perform failure analysis, and initial yield will also be required.
