
MEMS/NEMS Faculty Positions - Available Fall Semester 2007University of Louisville (Louisville, KY)For more information: http://www.mems.louisville.edu OverviewThe Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Louisville invites applications for two tenure track faculty positions in the areas of microelectromechanical systems (MEMS) or nanoelectromechanical systems (NEMS). RequirementsApplicants should have an earned doctorate in mechanical engineering or a related discipline and be qualified to teach undergraduate and graduate level mechanical engineering courses. ResponsibilitiesThey should also have research credentials consistent with development of an externally funded research program utilizing the university’s new 10,000 sq. ft. class 100 Micro/NanoTechnology Cleanroom Core Facility (http://www.mems.louisville.edu), one of the top ten such facilities in the United States. We intend to fill these positions at the level of assistant professor; however, more senior appointments or even endowed chair positions may be considered for applicants with appropriate qualifications.
