Overview

The Centre for Process Innovation (CPI) is a national resource for innovation in the process industry. CPI recently merged with the Centre of Excellence for Nanotechnology and Molecular Photonic Systems (Cenamps) and is leading the development of the new Plastic Electronics Technology Centre (PETeC), based at Sedgefield. PETeC will be an internationally recognised facility for the development and commercialisation of printed electronic devices and flexible functional materials.

Requirements

Relevant experience in micro fabrication techniques is essential.

Responsibilities

Working as part of a team you will report to the Senior Developer in developing new lithography and deposition processes for thin-film backplane materials (organic and inorganic). You will also generate scientific and technical knowledge to expand the level of business brought into the PETeC centre.
