My Client is a $33 billion diversified technology and manufacturing leader. They are a global, progressive company that has a demonstrated heritage of innovation and achievement. Their R&D labs have a global reputation for excellence, innovation, and bringing strong products to market. The company is rapidly growing and highly profitable. They are looking for a leader of their Microdevices initiatives.

Requirements

Required Qualifications: • PhD degree in Physics, EE, ME or Material Science • 5+ years experience in leading teams performing R&D in MEMS, nanotechnology, and/or Microsystems • Experience in winning US government R&D contracts • US Citizen or Permanent Resident status • Solid foundation and technical understanding of Sensors and MEMS. • Demonstrated ability to bring complex systems to market, moving them from concept all the way to production a plus.

Responsibilities

The Microdevices Group Manager will be a member of the labs leadership team driving the vision, overseeing the generation of new ideas, and supporting the execution of programs in MEMS, Microsystems, nano-enabled micro-instruments, and the development of smart nanomaterials.
