This Manufacturing Processing Engineer will support various silicon processes including Deep Reactive Ion Etching in the manufacturing organization. Requirements• Minimum M.S. in Electrical Engineering or Chemical Engineering, Ph.D. preferred; • 5+ years experience in DRIE process and equipment and other silicon RIE equipment; • Good understating of the physics of DRIE process; • Proven technical creativity; • Excellent communication and planning skills; • Broad technical expertise/experience and ability to lead other engineers in this technical area; • Experience with MEMS fabrication in a manufacturing environment is a plus. Responsibilities• Process development using state-of-art production-ready silicon Deep Reactive Ion Etchers to manufacture various MEMS devices; • Yield improvement, process optimization and SPC of the DRIE systems; • Operation and maintenance of the DRIE systems and other silicon process equipment in a cleanroom; • Provide training for operators and technicians and prepare SOPs; • Interact with DRIE equipment vendors to resolve any equipment issues.
