Overview

Sand 9 was formed in 2007 to create monolithically integrated circuit economics to transceivers throughout wireless communications. We are financed by premiere venture capital funds General Catalyst and Khosla Ventures. Our products will use nanomechanical semiconductor technology to offer customers unparalleled flexibility in product design and set a new benchmark for wireless device performance. Requirements

• Experience in MEMS processing and fabrication • Knowledge of common MEMS processing tools (RIE, metal evaporation, sputtering, wet etching, critical point drying) • 2+ years experience in industry desired • BS or equivalent industry experience

Responsibilities

• Work in a laboratory setting to process device samples • Perform resist spin-deposition and development • Perform regular e-beam lithography using a scanning electron microscope • Perform silicon lithography and etching in a clean room environment
