Our products and customers include both volume manufacturing and prototype design/production. We are seeking qualified candidates for the following position: Plating/Development Engineer There is a position open in the Product Development group for a Development Engineer with an emphasis in electroplating. Electroplating experience should include bath formulation, DC, and pulse plating, and alloy plating. This position will require a background in wafer processing and cross-functional knowledge in Plating, Wet and Dry Etching, Photolithography, and Deposition. RequirementsRequirements for this position are a minimum of an MS degree in Engineering or the Physical Sciences and three to five years of wafer processing experience, with much of that time in a developmental role. An advanced degree is desirable. Working knowledge of SPC and Design of Experiments is expected. ResponsibilitiesThe primary focus of this position is plating development, but will also extend to developing processes and process flows required for device development and integration. The engineer will be responsible for development and characterization of new processes, and improvement and extension of existing processes. Ultimately, these processes and products will transfer to production. The engineer will be responsible for providing all necessary capability data, training, and documentation for successful process transfer. Ability to trouble shoot cross-functional process segments, perform failure analysis, and initial yield will also be required.
