Overview

The Center for Applied NanoBioscience at Arizona State University is looking for a Semiconductor Technician, Principal to assist in projects by contributing clean processing capabilities (photolithography, etching, etc.) Maintain equipment and/or work with internal and external personnel to support efficient and reliable tool operation. Troubleshoot equipment failures and carry out necessary repairs. Order chemicals and other clean room supplies. The successful candidate will be located at the ASU Research Park, 7700 South River Parkway in Tempe, Arizona. Arizona State University is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.

Requirements

Associates Degree in related field and eight (8) years of related experience in thin film transistor or semiconductor fabrication in a manufacturing or pilot line production environment; OR, Any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.

Responsibilities

Desired qualifications include the demonstration of: strong communication skills; hands-on experience with wafer processing (spin coating, photolithography, wet and dry etching); experience using and operating metal evaporator; experience using and operating hot embosser. Demonstrated experience using deep reactive ion etcher would be a plus.
