The Inertial Sensors Business Unit of Custom Sensors & Technologies (CST) is looking to recruit for its brand Systron Donner Inertial, a specialist in high performance, precision Quartz MEMS, Inertial Sensing Products and Systems for the Aerospace, Defense and Marine markets. RequirementsEducation: Ph.D., or MS in Mechanical Engineering or Physics Years of Experience: 5 to 10 years of related work experience Sensor design and packaging experience (inertial sensors a plus) Electromechanical system design experience (inertial systems a plus) CAD experience (Pro-E preferred) a must, with all of the analytic tools for vibration, shock, and thermal. Understanding of mechanical isolation systems to minimize shock and vibrational inputs Ability to conceptualize new designs from scratch. Excellent understanding of material properties Ability to lead a multi-functional team to get results on a schedule Ability to project new technologies into product designs Clear track record of innovation Other Preferred Attributes or Qualifications: May require special licensing and/or government clearance.
