dissolve epoxy?

There are proprietary epoxy removers.

I have used molten phenol (~80 C), overnight, on a hotplate,
in a petri dish. (Note, phenol is toxic through the skin. The
area of dermal contact effects toxicity. It also causes burns
so use reasonable care in handling it and disposing of it. It
was (is?) used to be in library paste to prevent the formation
of mold. I remember rather enjoying a lick now and then when I
was in K-3rd grade).

Subject: [mems-talk] dissolve epoxy?

Dear Memsnet members,
I would like to find a procedure to dissolve epoxy which does not damage
metal or silicon.
Thanks for your help.
Marty
