Hello:

I need to take some transmittance and absorption data
on very thin silicon crystle layer. The thickness of
the silicon I need is about 100 nm or as thin as
possible.

I know the silicon layer of some silicon-on-sapphire
wafer is in this thickness range. The transparent
sapphire substrate will not block my light beam. So it
serves my purpose. So I would like to know:

1) Any information about the SOS wafer suppliers is
highly appreciated.

2) Anybody can just lend me a small piece of this
wafer, if he/she just happen to have in their lab? I
will provide the delivery fee and return the wafer
after my measurement.
