Yuanfang,

I have always made my own. You order the glass tube and have a glass shop cut
it to size and shape.
I have them close one end down to a 3/8 tube for gas or steam to enter. I have
bought glass vessel and had then reshaped to make end caps. The University of
Connecticut has its own glass shop that did all the work. Try look for the
technical service department on
the UCONN.edu web site for the glass shop.

anyone suggest a good supplier for quartz processing tubes and the accessories
such as the end caps, wafer boats, rods etc? I hope I can run gas through the
tubes. Thank you very much!
