Hi Kevin,
If you want to implement a PID control loop you might consider using
LabView from National Instr.. They have a PID package you can buy.

Hello. My name is Kevin, and I am a graduate student in Nanyang
Technology University. I am starting a project in which I will try to
control an optical MEMS device. In this project I will use a optical
sensor as feedback signal.
I would very much appreciate any advice on closed loop control of MEMS
or any information about the optical sensors. Also, I was wondering if
anyone has tried this before.
