Dear Steve - We have demonstrated microheater elements made from poly-SiC
that operate well above 1100C. Carbide does not undergo any significant
recrystallization in this temperature range, has stable mechanical
properties, and is therefore well-suited to "take the heat". Please contact
me offline to discuss further and see if our capabilities can meet your
needs.

        Regards,
         Jeff
