As you mentioned the importance of seed layer. I have a question about it :
If i want to deposit metal in through holes,  in that case, do i need
to deposit the seed layer on the side walls also ?

Normally, i bond this wafer with another wafer having seed layer, so
seed layer is only on the bottom. Do we require to coat the side walls
also ?
