Problem with airbubbles on PDMS-surface in water

Hello,

I have a PDMS (Sylgard 184 from Dow Corning) device installed in a water
flow. I now have the problem, that even when using degassed water, air
bubbles settle on the surface of the PDMS. As all the acrylic glas around is
clean, it seems to have something to do with the PDMS. If anyone knows a
technique to avoid this problem, I would kindly ask him to give me an
advice. I know that plasma-treatment is known to solve this problem, but
unfortunately we cannot plasma-treat this device, so I am looking for some
other way.

Thanks a lot
