Hoyin,
We have a group doing the same thing here at the Univesity of Louisville.
One bit data that may be usefull for you: they found that wirebonding with
a ball bonder which uses an electrostatic discharge to form the ball would
frequently destroy thier devices.

I would like to see if you can have experience in making measurement of a
CNT bridged electrode. Basically, I am trying to make a CNTFET. I found that
when I got a CNT bridged electrodes, it is extremely easy to be burnt. It
happens in CNT itself and the electrodes. I am guessing it is caused by
static charge in human body. I have already grounded myself while handling
the CNT bridged electrodes and taking IV measurement. The condition for the
IV measurement is in air and room temperature. Also, I found that the
current is extremely small which is ~1E-12 A. People always have current up
to couple nanoamps or more. I know that they may take the measurment under
vaccum. So, I would like to see whether you can share your experience with
me.
