White teflon spots

Hi,

I work in development off gas detectors and have some question that I
hope some off you could tell me something about. The detector is a
parallel plate gas detector and for gas I use a mixture of
tetrafluorethane, R-134a (C2H2F4 ), SF6 and iso-butane, in 85, 10 and 5%
proportionalities. Is applied an uniforme electric field off 100 MV/cm
between the plates.

The main question was:

After some operation time, we observe some white spots, which is a main
problem for us, that someone said that could be Teflon or something like
Teflon. If some off you have some experience or some suggestions about
what could be than to avoid the problem, I will appreciate.

Thanks in advance. Luis, [email protected]
