Epoxy coating of thermoplastic polymer?

Dear colleagues,
I would like to make a epoxy surface modification of an thermoplastic
polymer (f.e. polystyrene).
Normaly I use silanes in a wet process (silane + solvent). But the most
thermoplastics are not
stable in solvents (like toluene, acetone...) and not stable over 80
degree celcius.
Does anyone have any suggestions on how to make this?
Thanks for your input!
