problems with cheap film masks

Dear MEMS community,

I have tried to use printed films as cheap masks, but I am faced with
the following problems:

- the films are not transparent enough. They are slightly white,
and under the microscope, the transparent regions are full of black
points, so that they do not transmit UV light well, and the resulting
resist patterns come out poorly.

- Do you have similar problems? If not, please give me the contact
e-mail of the company you deal with.

- Also, what specifications do you ask for, when you order printed films
for masks: emulsion up/down, composite,...?

I look forward to hearing from you.

Thank you.

Marvin
