Ben Meng / Waddan Systems;

We do quite a bit of file conversion CIF to GDSII and back, CIF to IGES and
back, etc., and we have and use a CIF to PostScript converter. However, we
don't have, and I don't know of a PostScript to CIF or GDS converter. We got
our CIF to PostScript converter from the source listed below. He/they may have
some insight on PostScript to CIF.

*To run this program on SUN 4 machines use psmask executable file.
*
*To run on SUN 3 machines use the sun3_psmask executable file.
*
*This package of files contain just the executable code
*of the cif to true scale postscript converter, and
*other sample files. Please read the information below before
*you start using the program.

*The idea behind this cif-to-true scale postscript
*converter program is to allow any user to produce a
*true scale postscript file from cif file and use
*any desk top publishing company to generate a
*linotronic output of the design.
*This linotronic output can then be used as a mask for
*lithographic purposes.
