Current generating MEMS???

To Whom it may interest,

I'm in a class working to come up with creative MEMs ideas and applications.
I am very new to MEMs and just had an introduction class on it.

A MEM idea that I am coming up with is that this MEM within an object will
be projected and airborned. During the projectile, it needs some kind of
mechanism to convert kinetic and/or potential energy into electric energy,
and store it in a capacitor which will cause a spark and an ignition at a
later point in time.

I am seeking ideas on:
1. energy conversion mechanism at MEM level,
2. energy generation capability of MEMS,
3. current required for the operation of the MEM.

Any ideas are greatly appreciated, please let me know if there's any
reference or websites that's worth visiting. Thanks.

Mike
