Finding pressure sensor

Hello Dave,

What type of process media are you measuring? For clean, dry air, it is
usually safe to directly contact the silicon. For water, you may have to
be careful about proper hookup and grounding. If the media is corrosive,
an isolation diaphragm is suggested.

What type of accuracy at 250C do you need? Accuracy is defined as
linearity, repeatability and hysteresis. What kind of measured accuracy
do you need over temperature? This includes 250C accuracy plus the span
and zero error at the temperature extremes?

Are you talking about gauge pressure, absolute pressure or differential
pressure? Gage pressure is referenced to the local altitude. Absolute
pressure is referenced to a full vacuum and differential pressure is
simply the difference between two pressures.

Finally, do you want to work with the temperature compensated output of a
wheatstone bridge (10mV/V typ.) or a signal conditioned output? (1-5V,
4-20mA., etc)

Ametek PMT has standard silicon based products as well as an active custom
program.

Hi,

I am looking for low cost silicon based pressure sensor. It's work rang is
form 0 to 10 atmosphere pressure and temperature ranges from -40C to 120C.
Simple package preferred. Could you please tell me where can I find it if
you
know. I need lots of it. Thanks.

David
