Hello:

I am attempting to find a parameter in the "Materials Properties" section
of ANSYS that accounts for residual/intrinsic stress of a material. I am
working with a thin layer of polysilicon, and while I am aware of how to
input the Young's modulus, Poisson's ratio, and density, I am unsure of
how to input the residual stress.

Also, if someone could explain how to bound just part of an object in
ANSYS, that would be quite useful. Take, for example, a cube that should
be bound on all sides. The catch is that one would only be binding part
of the edge of the cube. So, if say, the cube is 10mm on all sides, but
only the middle 2mm of each side should be bound leaving 8mm free to move,
how would one accomplish this?

Thank you.
