Pursuing a PhD at The University of Edinburgh, my research interests are in MEMS (Micro-electromechanical systems) based Reconfigurable Antennas. We lead the ESPACENET Project, which investigates the design, development and launching of a network of Picosatellites. That would one day replace the larger costlier satellites of today.

This Unique venture is taken by The Universities of Edinburgh, Surrey, Essex and Kent, along with our Industrial partners; NASA-JPL (Jet Propulsion Laboratory), Surrey Satellite Technology Ltd, ESPON Spiral Gateway and the Institute for System Level Integration.

We are also instrumental in organizing the NASA/ESA Conference on Adaptive Hardware and System (AHS-2007), to be held in Edinburgh 5-8th August 2007, during the Edinburgh Festival.
