Dear Sir/Madam, I have recently completed my PhD in Electrical Engineering at Auburn University and wish to apply for any MEMS Engineering positions that you are recruiting for. I have defended my dissertation and completed all other formalities and will be receiving my degree in May 2008. My primary research focus is on MEMS devices. I have employed MEMS varactors to design tunable and switchable antennas. I have also worked on the integration of an organic MEMS pressure sensor with an organic Field Effect Transistor. I have clean room experience working in the Alabama Microelectronics Science and Technology Center (AMSTC) lab for the past three years and familiar with processes and procedures involved in design, layout, fabrication and testing of MEMS devices. I am attaching my resume for your kind perusal. I believe that I will be a good fit for the position and would really like to discuss more regarding the opportunity with you. I currently possess work authorization for a year as part of practical training. I look forward to hearing from you. Thank you for your time. Sincerely, Madhu Madhurima Maddela 2951 Satellite Blvd #1716 Duluth, GA 30096 Ph: 334-663-2664(Mobile)
