ACADEMIC PROJECTS M.E : “3D Modelling and Reliability analyses of TQLMP IC Packages” o This Project is a part of the ongoing activities in the SPEL-SVCE Joint project on Advanced Semiconductor materials and packaging. o The modelling of TQLMP i.e. 24L TQLMP, 36L TQLMP and 64L TQLMP was modelled using Pro-E and the performance analysis was accomplished using ANSYS v11 software. o An Electro-Thermo-Structural couple field analyses was done for all the I.C packages using Ansys V11 software. o The results obtained from ANSYS v11 software were compared with the real-time tests such as Die shear Test, JEDEC Standard test ,Failure Theories etc.,
B.E : “Optimization of Tool Indexing using Genetic Algorithm” o This project mainly involves the reduction of machining time o A Program was created using C++ for the arrangement of tools for a particular machining job in the automated milling machine so as to reduce the machining time and increase the productivity.
