I am experiencing difficulties in drilling a 0.3mm (.02") diameter hole in a
3mm (1/8") thick piece of acrylic. The problems are associated with
material removal and melting.
I am using a Bridgeport with a drill bit and have experimented with spindle
speed and feed rate, but haven't acheived an optimal hole.
Any information on a good guide for machining plastic or any personal
experience on drilling plastic would be appreciated.
Thanks!!
